Cooling off: The cold, dry air that accompanies dropping temperatures contributes to dry eye by reducing tear production. This condition is characterized by blurry vision and a feeling like there’s something gritty stuck in your eyes. Try using artificial tears to soothe your eyes and dialing back on your screen time to lower irritation.

Rotten timing: Mold, one of the most common allergens, is increasingly prevalent come Autumn, as fallen leaves and decaying wood create a welcoming environment for mold spores to thrive. Mold may be the culprit behind the redness, itching, tearing, and a burning sensation your eyes are experiencing. You can alleviate these symptoms by trying over-the-counter antihistamine eye drops.
